Dream Interpretation for the Everyday Clinician

Each night we are given the gift of a dream, wrapped in symbolic imagery. The question is how to open this gift, allowing the dream's wisdom to be revealed. Although dreams can be mystifying, the process of working with your client's dreams can be simple and illuminating.

This workshop presents a brief overview of the natures of dreams, and introduces an easy and practical approach to working with client's dreams in therapy. This method can be used with most clinical perspectives.

Learning Objectives
In successfully completing and attending this presentation, participants will be able to:
*Define the nature and function of dreams from a Jungian perspective.*
*Explain the symbolic process of the psyche.*
*Define a simple six-step dream interview process.*

Course meets the qualifications for 1 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
