Ladan H. Safvati, LMFT, ATR, Certified EFT-l Therapist, is the founder and director of Southern California Institute of Emotion Focused Therapy, approved by the International Society for EFT. She has completed extensive training in Emotion Focused Therapy with individuals since 2012 with Dr. Leslie Greenberg and Dr. Robert Elliott, Co-founders of EFT. She explains her experience with EFT as life-changing, personally and professionally, an approach that equipped her with deeper understanding of emotions and a solid structure in how to use emotional processing in session to assist clients in healing their past wounds and problematic emotional processes. Since the establishment of the SoCal Institute of EFT in 2017, Ladan has organized and hosted many experiential EFT trainings with the masters and originators of EFT and facilitated the experiential parts of these trainings, along with the pioneers, helping clinicians learn EFT skills experientially through their own experiences during skill practices.
