Newport Academy

A big thank you to Newport Academy,
for sponsoring our February 2020 Membership Meeting.

Newport Academy is a series of evidence-based healing centers for adolescents and families
struggling with mental health issues, eating disorders, and substance abuse. Our primary mission is to
empower teens and restore families. We provide a range of treatment options, including residential treatment, intensive outpatient programming, recovery-based therapeutic day schools, and day treatment.
Newport Academy treatment is based in the family-systems approach, and provides gender-specific,
individualized, and comprehensive holistic programs. Our offerings encompass clinical therapy,
academic support, and experiential modalities, including yoga, meditation, music, art, and
Adventure Therapy. Rather than treating symptoms, we focus on healing the underlying issues
that cause self-destructive behaviors, including trauma, abandonment, low self- esteem,
anxiety, and depression. To support families in accessing quality adolescent
treatment, Newport Academy accepts a wide range of insurance plans.
