BIG NEWS about VIDEO- SUPERVISION from the BBS: Registered Associates working in Non-Exempt settings are now able to receive videoconferencing supervision! On May 6, 2020, the Department of Consumer Affairs issued a waiver (https://bit.ly/2WKw0vw) permitting all Registered Associates, regardless of the setting in which they are working, to obtain supervision via two-way, real-time videoconferencing. This waiver does not permit telephonic supervision of any pre-licensee under any circumstances. The waiver terminates 60 days from May 6, 2020, unless extended

A big step forward for CAMFT in the drive for Medicare reimbursement for MFTs! The Mental Health Liaison Group — a national alliance of power players in the mental health arena — has written a coalition letter to persuade law makers to pass our Medicare bill.
