The Sacramento Bee reported on CAMFT’s formal endorsement of Proposition 3!

We're proud to support the fundamental right to marry, regardless of sex or race. We believe that our patients deserve to live and thrive as their authentic selves, both personally and under the law — which means having full and equal access to civil rights, including the right to marry.

Big news for therapists in California!

Starting January 1, 2025, you'll no longer need to physically display a license or registration for telehealth services. However, starting July 1, you'll need to supply new information in the “Notice to Clients” you provide at the start of services.

You can read more about this aspect of SB 1024 here.

Our State Government Affairs Associate, Shanti Ezrine, had the opportunity to meet former Congressman Patrick Kennedy at the Whole System Care Behavioral Health Conference last week!

As the lead author of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (Federal Parity Law), Kennedy recognized CAMFT's vital role in the state’s implementation of the California Mental Health Parity Act (SB 855).

We're so proud to be part of this powerful advocacy for mental health equity!
