President's Message — Daniel Hermosillo, LMFT

Happy New Year

Happy New Year's Clinical Fam! I want to welcome you all to 2025 with the SFV-CAMFT chapter! Adding one more year of experience in our field with colleagues and friends, is what I am looking forward to for 2025. The populations we service are what keeps us in business, so emphasizing on providing the best service to our clients will be my priority.

The motto for this new year is “Lets fall in love with our profession!” Reengaging with former, current, and future members will be top priority under my leadership. Completing vision boards, strategy meetings, and social activities will be the norm to identify ideas and goals that the board should adopt to beer serve the professional needs of our members.

Reshaping committees to compliment "YOUR" passions, is another intention of mine to increase membership engagement. Keep in mind, the committee engagement is intended to provide all members with mentorship opportunities, professional peers, consults, and altruistic work. So, join our committees to share the work that you love with your peers and soon to be friends. Whether it be shopping, arts and crafts/DIY, social groups, combat sports training, and professional development committees.

I look forward to honing my craft with you in “OUR” San Fernando Valley CAMFT Chapter! Wishing you the best for this year and many more!!!
