"Triangulation: The Core of the Supervisory Process"
led by co-chairs Mim Collins and Helen Meek
Our Supervisors SIG is a quarterly lunch discussion for supervisors and individuals interested in supervision. Bring a sack lunch and earn Supervision CEUs in the relaxing company of your peers! Each meeting we read and discuss a journal article regarding the supervision process.
If you are an intern/associate receiving this email, please forward to your supervisors and spread the word!
Join the next (and final for the year) gathering:
The very structure of supervision is triangular - supervisor, trainee, client. The emotional tensions created by the relationships forming the triangle will be discussed. Click here to download the article for this meeting.
In successfully completing and attending this presentation, participants will be able to:
Describe emotional intimacy in supervision and how it relates to working with the self of the trainee.
Identify one potential disruption in the supervisor/trainee/client triangle.
