Note:  Webinar

In this workshop, participants will be invited on a journey of personal and professional growth as they explore the world of Ethical Non-Monogamy (ENM) and polyamory.  Drawing from her background in clinical mental health counseling and working with the community as an ENM coach, the presenter provides a comprehensive overview of alternative relationship structures and equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to offer affirming and inclusive care to ethically non-monogamous individuals and their communities. This course includes building working knowledge of concepts and terms, vignettes, and role play as participants explore relationships through a non-monogamous worldview.

  1. Accurately identify and differentiate between at least 3 common ethical non-monogamous (ENM) and polyamorous relationship structures.
  2. Demonstrate their understanding of terms and concepts necessary to work effectively with ENM and polyamorous clients by correctly defining and recognizing at least 5 key terms.
  3. Identify and articulate at least 3 common myths and 3 challenges faced by the ENM population and communities.
  4. Increase their awareness and the ability to promote visibility for ENM Relationships and individuals.

Presenter:

Brandy Seignemartin, MS, APCC is dedicated to serving diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her journey to this profession began during her master’s studies in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Phoenix, where she discovered her passion for working with ethically non-monogamous individuals and alternative relationship structures.

Driven by her passion for inclusivity and advocacy, Brandy's focus expanded beyond direct counseling and coaching to encompass education and training. She is trained in Martha Kauppi's ENM training Level 1 and Gottman Level 1 and Level 2, equipping her with skills needed to work with diverse relationship dynamics.

Brandy is committed to helping others develop competencies needed to provide affirming and inclusive care for ethically non-monogamous individuals and their communities. Before starting her clinical work, Brandy had the opportunity to present on polyamory at the University of Phoenix's Research Symposium, where she shared her insights with peers and faculty.
