"FASCIA: The Missing Link in Mental Health"

with Anthony Chrisco, BS

Course Content:

This course will educate participants about the role that fascia plays with regards to mental health conditions. The practical application segment of the course involves a full-body roll out with the Fascianator Roller led by inventor and developer of the method, Anthony Chrisco. After completion of the lecture and the practical application segment, participants will have a thorough understanding of how fascia affects the physical body and how tight fascia can influence mental health conditions. They will also understand the effectiveness of the Fascianator Method with regards to overall well-being.

Learning Objectives:

1) Discuss where the fascia is located, and what body 3 systems it affects.

2) Identify 2 ways of that dysregulated fascia can contribute to the development of mental health issues.

3) Identify 3 effects that the Fascianator Method rolling program can provide.

Presenter:

Anthony Chrisco, is a Founding Member of the Fascia Research Society. He is the President of the Fascianator, LLC. He invented the Fascianator Roller and developed the Fascianator Method of Self-Myofascial Release in 2012. With over thirty years of experience in the health and wellness field, he has been fortunate enough to change thousands of lives all around the world.

When he first started teaching people about the benefits of fascial health, his own peers thought he was crazy! Little did they know that his ideas would be proven right - time and time again! Thanks to the work of the scientists of the Fascia Research Society, Anthony was able to take their research findings and apply them to his clientele.

In 2015, he attended the first Joint Conference on Fascia, Oncology and Acupuncture at Harvard Medical School. Since then, he has lectured at the University of Hawaii in both the Kinesiology and Athletic Training Graduate Progams. In 2018 and 2020 he was invited to Germany to be one of only fifty people in the whole world to participate in the Fascial Net Plastination Project, the first ever fascia focused dissection to be successfully plastinated at the Plastinarium in Guben, Germany.

When he is not working with his clients in Hawaii, he is busy traveling the world teaching the Fascianator Method in Asia and Europe. He has been happily married for 27 years to his wife and co-author of their book, Pain Free Everyday.
