Clinical Membership — $60.00
- Shall hold a license as a marriage and family therapist issued by the Board of Behavioral Sciences for the State of California.
- Shall be a member in good standing of CAMFT.
Associate/Pre licensed — $40.00
- Shall have completed all educational requirements for licensure and shall be engaged in the process of gaining hours of experience either as a registered associate, applicant, or in some other lawful capacity.
- Shall be a member in good standing of CAMFT.
Student/Pre licensed — $25.00
- Shall be enrolled in a masters or doctorate program satisfying the educational requirements for eligibility to sit for the licensed marriage and family therapist examination.
- Shall no longer be eligible for student membership upon the expiration of 90 days from graduation.
- Shall be a member in good standing of CAMFT.
Student Scholarship — Open August 1, 2021
Allied Professional — $60.00
- Shall be in a profession related to marriage and family therapy, whose practitioners are licensed, certified, or registered pursuant to California law, who shall not hold a marriage and family therapist license.
- Examples include: LCSW's, psychologists, psychiatrists, and LPCC's.
- Shall be a member in good standing of CAMFT.
Affiliate Membership — $60.00
- Shall be for an individual in a profession reasonably related to marriage and family therapy, whose practitioners by inclusion, further the objectives and purposes of the chapter.
- Examples include: accountants, attorneys, physicians, life coaches, and financial advisors.
- Shall not be required to be a member in good standing of CAMFT.
Community Partner — $75.00
- Shall be for individuals, companies, organizations, or chapter sponsors who may or may not be associated or working in the field of marriage and family therapy or mental health.
- Shall not be eligible to vote or hold office, but shall be entitled to all other rights and privileges of membership.
- Shall not be required to be a member in good standing of CAMFT.
Lifetime Membership — $500.00
- Shall be for individuals who plan to be practicing for more than 8 years, it may make sense to become a lifetime member and never have to pay another membership fee or bother with annual renewals.
- Shall be a member in good standing of CAMFT.
Emeritus Membership — $10.00
- Shall be for individuals declared inactive by the BBS and no longer working in the mental health field nor are they offering or promoting any other business or services — otherwise the category is to be affiliate or community partner membership level.
- Shall not be eligible to vote or hold office, but shall be entitled to all other rights and privileges of membership.
- Shall have been granted Emeritus status by state CAMFT.
